PRACTICES

In 2007 all Wellington East teams practised on a Wednesday night from 6pm for one to two hours, depending upon their grade.

In 2008 the P1 teams will be training on a Thursday night, with generally fitness training on a Monday. Please let a club official know at the trials before selection if you cannot attend practices. The remaining grades will be training on a Wednesday night.

Teams will begin training shortly after the trials are completed. You will be advised of your team placement, coach and practice time at the AGM (Thursday 27th March 2008 - venue TBC).

Weekly Draw

The weekly draw for games and the results are provided on the Netball Wellington Centre website (www.netball.wellington.net.nz). Game times are also advertised in Thursday's newspaper and game results are advertised in Monday's newspaper.

WET WEATHER DRAW - the following applied in 2006 but may change this season
NOTE:  Premier players play no matter what the weather is like.
When conditions are deemed unsuitable (i.e. very cold/wet/windy in terms of chill factor) for senior and collegiate players, these grades will be cancelled and a weather draw will apply to the premier grade.   A wet weather draw is when all games are played between 9.00 and 1.00:

Prem 2 9.00
Prem 4 9.50
Prem 1 10.40
Prem 3 12.05
Prem 5 12.55 pm

Cancellations and wet weather draw are announced on 2ZB.
